Playoffs
Alliances Separated into Divisions
Pascack Pandamonium will be taking advantage of our small size by offering an expanded playoff structure that guarantees each alliance at least two playoff rounds. Six alliances will be chosen after the qualifying matches are completed. These alliances will be separated into two divisions:
The Woodie Division, consisting of alliances 1, 4, and 5, and
The Flowers Division consists of alliances 2, 3, and 6
The alliances within each division will play rounds against each other according to the following schedule. Each round is won by the first alliance to win 2 matches (best 2 out of 3)
Woodie Division Rounds: 1 vs. 5
4 vs. 5
1 vs. 4
Flowers Division Rounds: 2 vs. 3
3 vs. 6
2 vs. 6
After the divisional rounds are complete, the two divisional winners will advance to the finals. The divisional winners will be chosen as follows:
- If one alliance wins both of their playoff rounds, it is the winner of the division.
- If all alliances in a division win one round and lose one round, then the winner of the division will be the alliance with the best playoff match record.
- If the playoff match records are tied, the winner of the division will be the alliance that scored the most points in the playoffs.
Championship Round
The final round will pit the winner of the Woodie Division vs. the winner of Flowers Division. The first alliance to win two matches of the Championship Round will be the 2008 Pascack Pandamonium champions.
